BARAEM TV is the first pre-school Arabic television for children between the age of 3 and 6 years old offering a range of programs specifically tailored for them.
Through joyful, simple and enlightening content, BARAEM TV educates the young audience and facilitates their safe interaction with the surrounding world. The Channel accompanies kids through their early formative years of learning, and offers a rich content that helps them develop their social skills and intuition.
BARAEM TV programming strategy is carefully designed to counterpart the pre-schoolers and their mothers during their daily routines. A typical BARAEM TV day starts with an active tone celebrating the sun rise; the level of mental and physical actions increases mid-morning to fit the kids’ energy boost; in the early afternoon the young viewers are offered a rich and diverse educational content introducing them to Arabic letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc…; the Channel’s rhythm slows down as the bed time approaches in an attempt to help mothers prepare their youngsters to sleep.
BARAEM TV broadcasts 17 hours daily, and is available in all Arab speaking countries and across Europe. Bararem is currently extending its worldwide distribution.
BARAEM TV programs and the interactive website (baraem.tv) are specifically designed to aid mothers, nurseries and kindergartens’ teachers by providing them with an array of innovative child engaging ideas and tools for their everyday activities.
BARAEM TV was launched by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, and is managed by Al Jazeera Children's Channel under Al Jazerra Media Network ownership.
