The South African channel M-NET appoints THEMA for some of its programs' distribution
The South African channel M-NET, has entrusted an exclusive commercial distribution agreement for some of its programs to THEMA, distributor-agent for linears' channels, for the French market and French speaking territories.
Indeed, the M-NET channel has produced a 5 documentaries collection of 52 minutes, called "what makes a great African", relating the life of emblematic key figures from the African continent. This collection gathers portraits of :
- Nelson Mandela (South Africa) - "The courage of Mandela"
- Haile Selassie (Ethiopia) - "The diplomacy of Selassie"
- Julius Kambarage Nyerere (Tanzania) - "The guidance of Nyerere"
- Wangari Maathai (Kenya) - "The compassion of Maathai"
- Wole Soyinka (Nigeria) - "The integrity of Soyinka"
This delightful collection included interview, reports and archives which are as well intended to general analog channels than TNT channels or thematic channels.
The next MIPCOM will be for THEMA the right place and the right time to conclude first deals on these programs.
