TRACE #1 Urban Television voted "Best Music TV Station"
by South Africa's Youth at Generation Next Awards!
Urban Music and Culture TV Station, TRACE TV has moved up to the next level. South Africa’s youth, as ever with its finger on the pulse of what is cool, voted TRACE as “Best Music TV Station” (Channel 0, 2nd, MTV Base 3rd, and MTV 4th).
The Sunday Times Generation Next awards are the results of an annual extensive brand preference study of urban South African youths aged 8- 22, conducted by HDI Youth Marketeers in partnership with Sunday Times and support from Monash South Africa.
As the only independently owned music TV station, this award makes the entire TRACE team incredibly proud and rightfully so! As well as the top gong for best Music TV Station, TRACE also made it into 3rd position in “Top Channel” category among 80 channels (Disney channel, 1st - SABC 1, 2nd). Not a bad feat for the newest kid on the Music TV block* in South Africa!
