THEMA: Opening of a Branch Office in New York City

THEMA reinforces its international development with the opening of a New York office in July 2011: THEMA TV North America.

6 months after the creation of a Singapore office, THEMA is now New York bound to pursue the company’s global development. This new office will allow THEMA to tap into the North American market and extend the distribution coverage to one of the largest pay-tv market in the world. THEMA has already been appointed as the official representative for France 24 within the territory to strengthen and expand the French International News Channel’s distribution. The company is also aiming to broaden the distribution of ethnic content within this market.

Reporting directly to Francois Thiellet, THEMA’s CEO, Vincent Chabrier will handle operations of the North American office. Former Distribution Manager at Fashion TV and France 24, he then joined France Telecom Content Division before moving to New York In 2009 to pursue his career at GlobeCast North America until June 2011.
